Will ExiledRP ever come back?

Discord server is in progress, phantom is writing a script or something to link your VIP status in-game and in discord. There is now mystery boxes that you can acquire from doing things in-game(weed collect, arresting someone, buying something from the shop ECT. Mystery boxes contain a varity of items, aks, m4s, various ammo types and around 22 hats with various rarities. If you have any ideas how to fix the noob raiding problem please post. Its a underlying issue phantom isn't sure how to go about fixing it.

Door cannot be lockpicked until the owner reaches a certain number of hours played.

Discourage people from raiding new players by displaying their playtime on their doors. (maybe stop displaying playtime after a like 24-36 hours or something so people don't try to constantly raid someone with a lot of hours)

Raid loot (weed/shrooms) will be less valuable if the owner has less playtime.

More viable ways to make money without the risk of raiding, like lowering the bar of entry for opening a shop or an entirely new way to make money like fishing or farming or something. (Ultimately drugs should be the most efficient way to make money still).

Government jobs pay dogshit compared to growing last I played

fluctuating sales tax for shop items like hardware/convenience store so players can sell items at a fixed price and profit when sales tax is too high

bank robbing when

is people basing with noobs for free protection really a bad thing? It's a great way for new players to develop into lasting players if friendships\alliances are made, and it gives an incentive for experienced players to interact with new players, and for new players to learn from them.

Idea for new member protection:

Maybe while on welfare you can buy special weed seeds (available 24/7 from dealer) that "binds" the plant to the player, no one can pickup or burn except for player. maybe sells for a bit less/more to build money and cant be traded..

Make home alarms dirt cheap and have them go off as soon as someone starts lock picking the door. (Don't really remember how home alarms work though)

Give new players claymore mines they can place around their homes for extra defense against raiders

Make lock picking harder, pic related:

or just make their doors harder to pick. why the fuck would we give them mines

Or we could just complain about the lockpick endlessly then after it's numerous tweaks no one can decide if it's too fast or too slow because all reference of what it should be like has been lost. The interaction could definitely be changed entirely. Maybe lock you in place, make you infinitely more vulnerable to someone opening the door and blasting you. Increase or change the noise it makes, ect. Upgraded or illegal door locks for doors too.

Lockpicking minigames sound like an bad idea which would put newer or bad players at a significant disadvantage. Not to mention any sort of minigame which is ran on the client could easily be automated by a client.

maybe make lockpicks single use items.. they break 100% of the time after each attempt. I think it'd be important to make raiding be risky. get a lucky lockpick and make profit, or waste a bunch, get in and take items, but gain nothing. It may sway people from exclusively raiding, but still make it possibly profitable, but would always be fun.

Or, leave lockpicks alone, but give homeowners better defense.. Maybe make metal fences nearly or completely immune to fire, so a barricade can stay up. Maybe enable some sort of bullet penetration so they can preemptively shoot a door if they know someone is raiding..

Honestly make stuff a little easier to get (props and what not) also less burnable. That way basing is less expensive and less of a gamble. Make things more fun (cheaper). One of the most successful servers I played, everyone was packing at all times (n00bonic plague).

This way people are less angry when they lose a gun. Basers will be more willing to set up another base, and raiders will be more willing to raid. More fun for everyone! We all got lives now.

We're all gettin in our early/late twenties. We don't really have time to base 15 hours a day like we used to just to get 50k in one day. Make things a little more fast paced.
